Adaptive Riding Lessons
Adaptive Riding Lessons are individualized lessons that accommodate a person’s physical, mental, and emotional abilities. Our participants include individuals with autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, as well as physical limitations. Among the positive outcomes of equine therapy are improvements in social skills, problem solving, self-confidence, empathy, and building trust. Each weekly 50 minute lesson includes time grooming the horse, preparing the horse for riding, and a mounted riding activity. These also often include small animal barn activities.

Programs are 6 weeks long, with lessons held once a week, for 50 minutes. You may choose to participate in 1 or more program, and the cost for a six-week program is $150. Contact us to request additional information, check availability, and to request an application. Our 2026 schedule is as follows:
Classroom Program (3 weeks): March 2nd – March 20th
Program 1: March 30th – May 8th
Program 2: May 18th – June 26th
Program 3: July 6th – August 14th
Program 4: August 24th – October 2nd
Program 5: October 12th – November 20th
Equine and Animal Assisted Learning
Equine Assisted Learning lessons are available for individuals who would benefit from equine assisted services but who have a physical, mental, or emotional barrier that would make riding deemed undesired. Each weekly 50 minute lesson may include time grooming a horse, interaction with our small animals (goats, rabbits, and chickens), and an unmounted arena activity.

School Groups
We will tailor a program to accommodate the needs of the students and the goals of the teacher. Each student will receive a riding lesson, interaction in the small animal barn, and interactive outdoor education lesson. (Limited to 12 students)

Field Trips
Field trips are open to larger groups (scouting groups, homeschool co-ops, etc), and include interaction with the horses and small animals, unmounted arena activity, and interactive outdoor education lesson.

School groups and field trips are not subject to the adaptive lesson program schedule. Please contact us for scheduling.
